New health guide to tackle FASD, family violence and child abuse

The latest guide to assist health practitioners working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples will look at five new areas of concern.

Fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD), preventing child maltreatment, family abuse and violence, and lung cancer were added to the third National Guide to a preventative health assessment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in response to requests from health professionals and community.
